All of our bumper weight plates are the IWF standard diameter of 450mm and have a 2 inch(51mm) stainless steel inner ring to fit an olympic barbell.

What are Bumper Weight Plates used for?
Bumper weight plates are ideal for Olympic weightlifting, weight training and strength training and are suitable for home gym and commercial use. Due to their durable rubber design they are very popular among CrossFit enthusiaists and competition weight lifters as they absorb impact when dropped from a height protecting your floor and equipment and your olympic barbells.

What is a Bumper weight Plate made of?
Our Eco Bumper plate is made from 100% recycled rubber. The rubber comes from recycled car and truck tyres so a no brainer if you wish to add to your green credentials.
Our Flecked bumper Plate has a solid metal cast iron core wrapped in dense virgin rubber. These are thinner than the Eco bumpers, allowing for more weight plates on your barbell making them ideal for heavy lifts.
One of the many benefits of our Flecked bumper weight plate is they are colour coded making them attractive to look at and weight selection a breeze.
The Black Bumper plates, like our speckled plates have a solid metal cast iron core wrapped in a durable rubber coating.
