What Thickness is best for Gym Floor Mats?
11mm - 11mm rubber flooring tiles are ideal for stationary gym equipment like your spin or air bike, rowing machine, or treadmill. The 11mm floor mats have a free weight workout drop limit of 100kg.
15mm - The 15mm gym matting are great for functional fitness activities. 15mm have a free weight workout drop limit of 110kg. Ideal for the garage or home gyms.
20mm - The most popular of our Gym Floor Mats. It has a free weight drop limit of 140kg—perfect for garage and home gym flooring as well as free weight areas. Ideal in the home set up under your rack and weight bench.
30mm - The 30mm mats have a free weight drop limit of 200kg. Excellent shock absorbent properties, ideal for Cross fit and commercial gyms.
43mm - 40mm - 50mm Heavy duty Gym Floor Mats have a workout drop limit of 300kg! These bad boys are ideal for powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting training, the perfect weight room floor mats.
If you are doing Olympic weight lifting or cross fit, the 30mm or 40mm gym matss will offer better protection.

Can the Rubber Tiles be used outside?
Yes, rubber is naturally water-resistant, so some of our mats can be used outdoor. Our hi-impact indoor/outdoor mats and 30mm & 43mm anti-shock tiles all have feet that act as drainage channels and can be used outside.

Is EVA foam good for your flooring?
Eva foam interlocking tiles (mma EVA mats) or Tatami mats are suitable for martial arts training, gymnastics, yoga and boxing. Eva foam is not recommended for strength or resistance training.
