Weight sleds are a metal frame on skis where you can load Olympic plates for more resistance.

Often referred to as a Gym Sled, they are used in high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and other strength and endurance-building workouts.

The user can then push or pull the weighted sled across the ground, sprint track or grass using a harness for pulling or poles for pushing. These weight sled pull exercises and push methods provide resistance and help to improve body strength, build muscle and power.
